Grapes: Merlot 100%

Sight: Good colour, red full of light and vivacity

Nose: The bouquet of this wine is full of charm and personality mixing red fruits with wild berry aromas

Palate: The palate is sincere with very evident tannins which confer harmony full of promise to its entirety.

General Information: Grapes were completely destemmed and softly crushed. 40% of the harvested grapes were cold-macerated. Alcoholic fermentation: 7-8 days at a temperature of 28° - 30° C. Post-fermentative maceration: 20 days at a temperature of 22° - 25° C. Malolactic fermentation: induced naturally at controlled temperatures. 12 months of aging in French tight grained oak barrels. Barriques: 40% new, 30% one year old, 30% two years old. Final blending of the fermentation parcels in February 2011.

Food Match: Rich pasta dishes, red meats, roasted or grilled, particularly lamb. Brandino planned the renovation of the Vistorta Estate. With the collaboration of Georges Pauli, wine maker at Chateau Gruaud Larose at the end of the 80’s.
