Sight: Ruby red with lovely reflections of indago in its youth, deep purple with time.
Nose: Exuberant and vivid notes of fruit, berrylike evolving into more condensed fruit with maturation.
Palate: Slightly tannic and dry with a pleasant fresh fruity flavour, persistent with a notable structure.
General Information: The grapes for this wine are harvested from the coastal area of Bolgheri from traditional varietals, Sangiovese, Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, others 30%. The fermentation and maceration take place over a period of three weeks with normal pumping over procedures. A wine which is well adapted to a natural and simple maturation given the climate of Castagneto. Following the passage of the winter and its malolactic fermentation, the wine is bottled after a six months fining in wooden barrels.
