Maior de Mendoza is a winery based in Pontevedra in Galicia (Spain) surrounded by vineyards and is on the hillside that descends on the fishing village of Carril, famous for producing the best clams in the world.
Sustainable farming is practiced. No herbicides, insecticides or aggressive products are used. Everything is done by hand.
Straw yellow, with intense greenish hue, limpid and bright. Nose of medium-high intensity, of great complexity. White flowers, mimosas, balsamics, fresh fruits (white,bone and citrus), candied and syrup fruits,spices, with the presence of fine lees, notes of pastry, minerals, marinades and fine smoked nuances. Intense mouth, vibrant and fresh acidity, mineral, saline, fruity, feeling fat and creamy, long and persistent also in the aftertaste.
Perfect with hors d'oeuvres, seafood, fish, rice, white and red meats and Oriental cuisine.
