Vineyards

This wine is produced from carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes grown in Knightor’s Cornish vineyards. The cool English climate imparts elegance and lightness to the wine, enhancing its refreshing acidity and aromatic profile. Only the ripest grapes were chosen to achieve the depth of flavour desired.

Winemaking

This Pinot Noir was partially fermented and aged in oak barrels for over 10 months, adding subtle complexity to the wine. The fermentation and ageing methods help preserve the juicy red fruit character and allow gentle spice nuances to emerge. 

Appearance

Pale ruby in colour, with a clear, bright hue.

Nose

The aromatic profile is vibrant, featuring notes of red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, and cranberry, with a touch of sweet spices and a hint of vanilla.

Palate

Light-bodied yet expressive, the palate mirrors the nose with red forest fruits and a gentle layer of spice, complemented by good acidity and soft tannins. The wine finishes with a refreshing, slightly peppery note, making it a versatile choice. Note: this wine may contain natural sediment.

Food pairing

Perfect on its own or with a variety of dishes, this wine pairs well with lighter fare such as roasted poultry, grilled vegetables, or summer salads. Serve at 16°C or slightly chilled for best enjoyment.
