Our Story
Sommelier’s Choice was founded by Tim Green, a former UK Sommelier of the Year, whose early career saw him working alongside renowned chefs such as Anton Mosimann, Simon Hopkinson, and Alain Ducasse. Inspired by a transformative trip to Italy, Tim established Sommelier’s Choice in 1999 to bring exceptional wines to the finest dining establishments. Today, we are proud to offer the same high-quality wines to discerning customers who wish to enjoy them at home.

Each has a commitment to sustainability, and most practice organic principles even if not fully certified yet. Every bottle on our website tells a story of craftsmanship, people, and heritage, reflecting the unique terroir and tradition of its origin.
