Returns & Refunds Policy
At Sommelier’s Choice, we want you to shop with confidence. If you wish to return your order, please contact our team by email at orders@sommelierschoice.co.uk.
Our team will arrange the return and advise on the next steps.
Returns
Wines may be returned in accordance with the conditions outlined below.
Please note that for returns involving non-faulty wines, a collection charge may apply and may be deducted from the final refund amount where applicable.
-The return request must be made within 14 days of delivery
-Wines must remain unopened and in their original condition
-Labels must be intact and seals unbroken
-Returned wines must be made available for collection within 14 days of the return request
Once a return request has been approved, collections are typically arranged within 5 working days.
If a scheduled collection cannot be completed because the wines are unavailable for collection, an additional collection charge may apply where applicable.
We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet the above conditions.
Refunds
Once the returned wines have been received and inspected, we will confirm whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund has not appeared after 7 working days, we recommend:
-Checking your bank account again
-Contacting your card provider or bank, as processing times may vary between institutions
If you still have not received your refund, please contact our team by email at orders@sommelierschoice.co.uk.
Corked, Faulty or Damaged Wines
If a wine arrives damaged or is believed to be corked or otherwise faulty, please contact our team as soon as possible.
Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement bottle or provide an alternative resolution.
Gift Orders
If the order was marked as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, any approved return will be issued to the recipient as a gift voucher for the value of the returned wines.
If the order was not marked as a gift, refunds will be issued to the original purchaser using the original payment method.
