The Corteforte Three Bottle Collection

Over the next two weeks, we will be sharing a deep-dive into Corteforte following our recent visit to the beating heart of Valpolicella.  To coincide, we are offering a handpicked selection of three exceptional wines that showcase Corteforte’s commitment to tradition and innovation with a 15% discount across the three bottle collection.

1 x Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso DOC 2021, Italy

An expressive Ripasso with aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and dried violet, layered with hints of sweet spice and cocoa. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with velvety tannins and a lingering finish of dark fruit and a touch of vanilla.

Key fact: Produced using the traditional Ripasso method, where the wine undergoes a second fermentation on Amarone skins for added richness and complexity.

Food pairing: Pairs beautifully with roasted meats, rich pasta dishes, or aged cheeses.

1 x Concentus IGT Toscana 2014, Italy

A refined Super Tuscan blend with deep aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dried herbs, complemented by subtle notes of cedar and tobacco. The palate is full and harmonious, with fine-grained tannins and an elegant, persistent finish.

Key fact: A limited-production blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in French oak for optimal balance and structure.

Food pairing: Ideal with Bistecca alla Fiorentina, slow-cooked lamb, or mature pecorino.

1 x Amarone Classico DOCG Terre Di San Zeno 2016, Italy

A sumptuous Amarone with intense aromas of dried fig, black cherry, and dark chocolate, enriched by nuances of cinnamon, clove, and espresso. The palate is rich and opulent, with layers of concentrated fruit balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, warming finish.

Key fact: Crafted from hand-selected Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, dried for up to 120 days before vinification to achieve maximum flavour concentration.

Food pairing: Perfect with braised game, rich stews, or a decadent dark chocolate dessert.
