Vineyards

The vineyard’s soil consists of stony, reddish-brown limestone with a touch of iron oxide, lending a distinct mineral edge to the wine. Planted between 1924 and 1997, the vines draw from these rich soils, expressing the unique terroir of this iconic region.

Winemaking

This vintage is vinified from 100% Pinot Noir, hand-harvested and carefully selected for optimal ripeness. The wine matures in a mix of stainless steel and oak, with up to 25% aged in 300-litre French oak barrels (primarily second and third fill) for six months, allowing gentle oak integration without overpowering the fruit character.

Appearance

Deep ruby red with a vibrant clarity.

Nose

Aromas of sweet red berries, such as cherry and raspberry, are complemented by subtle hints of savoury spice and earth, characteristic of classic Pommard wines.

Palate

On the palate, the wine is warm and rounded, with fine, well-structured tannins that create a long, elegant finish. The minerality from the vineyard’s limestone-rich soil combines harmoniously with the fruit, adding complexity to this vintage’s refined profile.

Food pairing

Perfect with hearty dishes like braised beef, duck, or spiced lamb dishes, as well as earthy vegetable-based dishes.
