Vineyards
Produced in Abruzzo’s Colline Pescaresi region, this Pecorino comes from vineyards in the Caparrone district, nestled in the hills west of Pescara. The area’s mineral-rich soils and warm Adriatic breezes contribute to the vibrant, expressive character of the Pecorino grape.
Winemaking
The Pecorino grapes are sustainably farmed, handpicked, and fermented in stainless steel to maintain freshness. The wine is aged on fine lees for two months, adding depth and texture.
Appearance
A pale straw yellow, with a bright and clear hue.
Nose
Aromas of ripe stone fruits, citrus, and a hint of grapefruit lead the nose, showing off Pecorino’s fresh and lively profile.
Palate
Crisp and zesty, with layers of fresh peach and tropical fruit. The wine is approachable yet complex, with a mineral undertone and lively acidity that give it depth and balance.
Food pairing
Pairs wonderfully with seafood, especially roasted fish like turbot or sea bass, and is versatile enough for light pasta and vegetarian dishes.
