Vineyards

Ruinart Brut is crafted from a meticulous selection of vineyards in Champagne's finest terroirs, with a primary focus on the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. These areas are renowned for their chalky soils and cool climate, which enhance the freshness, minerality, and elegance of the grapes.

Winemaking

A blend of 40% Chardonnay, 50-55% Pinot Noir, and 5-10% Meunier, Ruinart Brut combines the richness of red grapes with the finesse of Chardonnay. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve their purity. The wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and matures on its lees for a minimum of 36 months, ensuring complexity, fine bubbles, and a silky texture.

Appearance

Pale golden yellow with vibrant, fine bubbles.

Nose

The bouquet is fresh and delicate, offering aromas of white fruits such as pear and apple, complemented by hints of almond, brioche, and floral notes of acacia and hawthorn.

Palate

On the palate, the wine is balanced and harmonious, with flavours of crisp green apple, citrus zest, and stone fruits like peach. A subtle nuttiness and a touch of minerality add depth, leading to a refined, refreshing finish.

Food pairing

Ruinart Brut pairs beautifully with light appetisers such as oysters, scallops, or sushi. It also complements creamy dishes like risotto or soft cheeses, enhancing its bright and elegant character.
