Vineyards
Located in Cahors, Château Pineraie’s vineyards span 37 hectares across clay-limestone soils on the Lot River terraces and limestone plateau. Managed with sustainable practices, the estate cultivates primarily Malbec, blended with some Merlot, which brings balance and subtlety to the wine.
Winemaking
The 2020 vintage is a blend of 85% Malbec and 15% Merlot. It undergoes fermentation with a 2-3 week maceration, followed by aging in oak barrels for one year, 20% of which are new, adding complexity while preserving the wine's fruit character.

Palate
This wine is full-bodied and structured, with flavours of dark berries, plum, and subtle spice. The tannins are well-integrated, adding a balanced texture that leads to a smooth, lingering finish.
