Vineyards
The Pinot Meunier grapes for this wine are sourced from Simpsons Wine Estate’s meticulously managed vineyards in the North Downs of Kent. The combination of chalk-rich soils and a cool climate allows the grapes to ripen slowly, developing delicate aromatics while retaining vibrant acidity. Sustainable viticulture practices are employed to protect the local environment and enhance vine health.
Winemaking
This unique still wine is made entirely from 100% Pinot Meunier. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are gently whole-bunch pressed to extract pure juice. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the fresh fruit character. The wine is kept on fine lees for four months to add texture and complexity while maintaining its bright, fruit-driven profile. No oak is used in the vinification process, ensuring a clean and precise expression of the varietal.
Appearance
Pale gold with bright silver reflections, indicating its white vinification process.
Nose

Palate
Fresh and elegant, the palate offers flavours of lemon, green apple, and a touch of white peach, with crisp acidity and a clean, mineral finish. Crisp acidity provides excellent balance and structure, while a touch of minerality adds depth, leading to a clean, elegant finish.
